Digital Brings

Digital Product Development

From “we need a website” to software your business runs on.

Same team, same standard, whether it’s five pages that make you look credible or a platform with accounts, payments and a support queue behind it.

Scope

What we build.

Grouped by what it does for you, not by the framework underneath — because that part should be our problem, not yours.

Sites that have to sell

  • Business and corporate websites
  • Landing pages built for a specific campaign
  • E-commerce, from small catalogues to complex pricing
  • Multi-language and multi-region sites
  • Content systems your team can update without us

Software that has to work

  • Web applications and internal tools
  • SaaS products with accounts, roles and billing
  • Customer portals — orders, invoices, documents, status
  • Operational dashboards pulling from live systems
  • Mobile apps for iOS and Android

Getting an idea off the ground

  • MVPs scoped to prove one thing, not everything
  • Prototypes you can put in front of real users
  • Technical feasibility and cost reality checks
  • Architecture that won’t need replacing at version two

Fixing what already exists

  • Rebuilding sites that have become unmaintainable
  • Performance work — slow pages, slow queries, slow builds
  • Migrating off platforms you’ve outgrown
  • Adding a proper API to something that never had one
  • Taking over a project another team left behind

Non-negotiables

What’s true of everything we ship.

These aren’t upgrades or line items. They’re the baseline, on every project.

Genuinely responsive

Designed for phones as a first-class case, not shrunk down afterwards. Most of your visitors are on a mid-range Android on a patchy connection.

Fast on purpose

Optimised images, minimal blocking scripts, sensible caching. Speed is a conversion feature and a ranking factor, not a nice-to-have.

Accessible

Keyboard navigation, real contrast, proper labels, reduced-motion support. It’s the difference between a site people can use and one that merely exists.

Findable

Semantic structure, clean metadata, sitemaps, social previews and analytics wired up before launch — not bolted on when someone asks why there’s no traffic.

Tested

Automated tests around the logic that matters. Our own open-source tooling ships with 127 of them; the habit doesn’t stop at client work.

Handed over properly

Code in your repository, accounts in your name, documentation a new developer can follow. No dependency on us that you didn’t choose.

How a build runs

You see it working before it’s finished.

The worst version of this work is three months of silence followed by a reveal. We don’t do that.

01

Scope

What it must do, what it explicitly won’t do in version one, and what that costs. Written down, agreed, fixed.

02

Structure

Pages, flows, data and states mapped before visual design. Getting this wrong is the expensive mistake; getting it right makes everything after it faster.

03

Design

Real screens with real content — your products, your copy, your worst-case long names — not placeholder text that hides every layout problem.

04

Build in the open

A staging link from week one. You watch it fill in, and change your mind while changing your mind is still cheap.

05

Test & harden

Real devices, slow connections, awkward inputs, and the paths users take that nobody designed for.

06

Launch & hand over

Analytics, search setup, backups, monitoring, documentation and a walkthrough with whoever will look after it.

Questions

Before you brief anyone.

Whatever costs you least over three years. A shop with a standard catalogue is often best served by an established platform, well configured. A product with unusual logic will fight that platform forever and should be custom. We’ll recommend the boring option when the boring option is right — we don’t earn more by overbuilding.

Yes, and you should be able to. Anything that changes regularly — text, images, products, prices, team members, case studies — goes behind an editor your team can use. Coming back to us for a phone number change is a design failure.

Both, and we’d rather do both. Design that ignores what’s buildable and engineering that ignores how it should feel both produce the same result. If you already have designs or a brand, we’ll work to them.

We’ll tell you the running costs before you commit — hosting, domains, any third-party services — and set them up in your accounts so you’re never paying us a markup on someone else’s invoice. For most business sites this is genuinely small.

We’ll look before answering. Sometimes a site is structurally fine and needs a week of focused work. Sometimes it’s held together in a way that makes every future change expensive, and rebuilding is cheaper by the second month. You’ll get the reasoning, not just the verdict.

What are you trying to build?

Send us a rough idea — even a paragraph. You’ll get back a real opinion on scope, approach and cost, not a proposal template.
