How it works

From application to shortlist, before the candidate takes another offer.

  1. 10:02 AM

    A candidate applies

From a job portal export, your careers page, a WhatsApp link or a spreadsheet your team already keeps.

  2. 10:09 AM

    Screenly calls

From your registered business number, in the candidate's language, inside the calling hours you set.

  3. 10:15 AM

    Answers are scored

Each answer is checked against your rubric. Knockouts, like a 90-day notice, are flagged, not hidden.

  4. 10:16 AM

    Your recruiter sees the rank

The shortlist updates in the console, with a daily summary on WhatsApp or email. Your team books interviews.

Fairness and consent

Screenly ranks. A person decides.

Candidates are people looking for work, often their first job. Every call is built so they are treated the same way and can always reach a human.

01

Consent before questions

The call opens by naming your company, the role applied for, that it is an automated screening call, and that it is recorded. It continues only if the candidate agrees.

02

Same questions for everyone

Every candidate for a role hears the same questions in the same order and is scored on the same rubric. You can see the rubric at any time.

03

A human makes the decision

Screenly recommends and ranks. It never rejects anyone. Inviting, holding or declining a candidate is always a recruiter's click.

04

Ask for a person, any time

If a candidate says they want to talk to a person, the call ends politely and is flagged for a recruiter to call back.

05

Only job questions are scored

Nothing about age, gender, religion, caste, marital status or accent goes into the score. The rubric only holds what you need for the job.

06

Data kept for hiring only

Recordings and answers are used for this hiring only, kept for the period you choose, and deleted on request, in line with India's DPDP Act.

FAQ

Questions recruiters ask us.

Yes. The call introduces itself as an automated screening call on behalf of your company, says it is recorded, and asks the candidate for permission before the first question.

No. It scores and ranks, and flags knockouts such as a notice period over your limit. Every invite, hold or decline is made by someone on your team, and lower-ranked candidates stay in the list for review.

You give each question a weight, for example 25 points for speaking and clarity and 15 for notice period, and say what a full, partial or zero answer looks like. Screenly applies the same rubric to every candidate and shows the points and the reason for each one.

Screenly retries at the times you choose, and can send a WhatsApp message asking when is a good time to call. Unreached candidates are listed separately so nobody is lost.

15 Indian languages plus English, including mixing with English mid-sentence. Hindi, Telugu and English are live in our demos; other languages are set up and voice-tested during your pilot.

Yes. Most roles use five or six questions. We write them with your recruiters during setup, test them on calls, and adjust wording before any real candidate is called.

Three to four weeks. Most of that is registering your business number with the telecom provider and testing the questions in your languages.
