B2B sales research · built for India

Know why they'd buy before you write the first line.

Describe your ideal customer. Scout finds companies that match, researches each one from public sources, and writes an account card with the reason to reach out today. Then it drafts a short first message for you to review and send yourself.

Built for teams that sell to businesses

    The problem

Sending more messages is easy. Having a reason to send one is the work.

A good first message needs three things: the right company, the right person, and a reason that is true this month. Finding those takes a salesperson an hour per account, reading websites, job posts and news.

So most teams skip it. They buy a list, send the same template to everyone, and read the silence as "the market is slow".

Scout does the reading. You get fewer, better accounts, each with the evidence attached, and a draft that says something specific.

    How it works

Five steps. The last one is always yours.

    1. 01

      Describe your ideal customer

Industry, city, size, and the signals that make a company ready to buy: hiring, a new branch, funding, a tender win, a website with no online booking.

    2. 02

      Scout finds and researches accounts

It reads company websites, public news, job posts and public registries, and keeps only the companies that match.

    3. 03

You get account cards with sources

What they do, why they fit, a recent trigger and the likely decision-maker role. Every fact links to where it was found.

    4. 04

      Scout drafts a first message

Short and specific to that account's trigger. Pick a tone, edit anything, or rewrite it completely.

    5. 05

      You review and send it

From your own email or LinkedIn. Scout never sends anything. Mark it as sent and track replies on the pipeline board.

Hello, I noticed Nimbus is hiring an admissions counsellor for Kompally ahead of the new session. When admissions run on calls and walk-ins, enquiries tend to slip between campuses. We set up simple enquiry tracking for Hyderabad schools. Would a short call next week be useful?

Example card for illustration. The school is fictional and the sources are placeholders.

    Responsible prospecting

Research about businesses. Never about private lives.

Scout is a research assistant for a salesperson, not a mass-mailing tool. These rules are built into how it works, not left to a settings page.

    A

    Public business information only

Company websites, public news, public job posts and public registries. Nothing behind a login, nothing bought from a data broker.

    B

    A source for every fact

If Scout can't link a claim to a public page, the claim doesn't go on the card. You can check anything in one click.

    C

No personal phones or private emails

Scout does not scrape personal mobile numbers or private email addresses. It tells you which role to approach, and you reach them through their public channels.

    D

    You send every message

Scout drafts. You read, edit and send from your own email or LinkedIn, one at a time. It never sends on your behalf.

    E

    Opt-outs are respected

Anyone who asks not to be contacted goes on your do-not-contact list, and Scout will not research or draft for that company again.

    F

Handled per the DPDP Act, 2023

Minimal data, kept only as long as you need it, stored for your workspace alone, and deleted when you ask.

    FAQ

    Questions people ask us.

No. Scout drafts the first message and stops there. You copy it, edit it if you like, and send it yourself from your own email or LinkedIn. Then you mark it as sent in the console.

Public business sources: company websites, public news, public job posts and public company registries. Each fact on a card links to the page it came from, with the date it was checked.

No. Scout names the likely decision-maker role, such as Head of Operations, and shows the company's public contact channels. It does not collect personal mobile numbers or private email addresses.

No. Scout has no partnership with LinkedIn or any data provider, and it does not log in to or scrape LinkedIn. If you send a message on LinkedIn, you do that from your own account.

Public pages go out of date, so Scout shows its evidence instead of asking you to trust it. Read the card, click a source if something looks off, and mark the account reviewed before you use the draft.

It is how closely the company matches the criteria you set, with each criterion shown as met or not met. It is not a prediction that they will buy or reply.

Scout works with business information, keeps the minimum it needs, stores it for your workspace only, honours opt-outs and deletes data on request. We walk you through this during the pilot.
